Berlin - The Wild Thing

Co-taught with Dana Iova-Koga, Shinichi Iova-Koga, Satu Palokangas and Sten Rudstrøm

Dates:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 13-15.10.17
Times: 09:00-17:00
1.5 hr lunch break

Location:
ada Studio
Ufer Studios, Berlin

This workshop combines deep somatic awareness work with the imagistic play
available in Butoh Dance, the detailed energetic research within Qi Gong, the raw
expression of Action Theater improvisation and the connective presence
necessary across the performative arts.

Each day will start with sensory awareness work and gradually build into more dynamic movement and voice explorations. In this workshop, you will re-enter the sensory world of breath and movement, re-connect with inner stillness and yield into the specificity of various tissues and spaces of your own body, the partner's body and the body of the space.

This workshop is co-taught by four brilliant teachers, all with decades of practice and diverse yet complementary perspectives to body and performance. This is a rare opportunity to be learning with them all in one space.
