In this one-off series of 7 evening classes, we dive into anatomy, improvisation and partnering practices. Through movement, voice and hands-on exercises, various pathways of coherence and presence will be found. Each class focuses on a different aspect of embodied anatomy; your bones, muscles, ligaments, fascia, fluids, organs, hormonal and nervous systems all get their chance to shine. Developmental movement patterns will be visited, and re-visited, for further clarity and articulation. These classes are based on Body-Mind Centering®, Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis, improvisation practices and somatic movement therapy. The explorations provide a space for joyful movement and deep recuperation - and perhaps most importantly - a place to meet ourselves and eachother fully. In all my teaching I am interested in stretching the fabric of habit, making room for choice and change.
